Accordo tra FOOTBALLANDTHEFIRSTWORLDWAR.ORG e GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM

Oggi è stato raggiunto un accordo di collaborazione tra la testata giornalistica “GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM”, rappresentata dal Direttore Responsabile Federico Baranello e “FOOTBALLANDTHEFIRSTWORLDWAR.ORG”, rappresentato da Iain McMullen.

L’intesa, fortemente voluta dalle due parti, ha origine nella condivisione degli obiettivi che diventano comuni, in particolar modo l’interesse per la valorizzazione e diffusione della storia del calcio. In particolare GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM potrà avvalersi delle ricerche e ricostruzioni storiche effettuate da McMullen negli anni, relative al calcio e alla Prima Guerra Mondiale, in particolare alle storie di calciatori che hanno giocato in prima squadra sia nella English Football League che nella Southern League e quelli che hanno partecipato alla Scottish Football League.

“Ancora un passo in avanti importante per la nostra testata giornalistica”, ha precisato Federico Baranello, “una collaborazione che ci permette di raccontare la storia del calcio da una prospettiva ancora diversa e per nulla scontata. Una collaborazione importante per noi”.

“Sono lieto di condividere la mia ricerca sul calcio britannico durante la prima guerra mondiale con GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM e i suoi lettori di lingua italiana”, ha detto Iain McMullen che ha poi aggiunto, “Il calcio è una parte così integrante della vita sia nel Regno Unito che in Italia, quindi sarà fantastico vedere le storie dal mio sito web raggiungere un pubblico più ampio. Entrambi i paesi hanno anche sofferto in modo significativo durante la prima guerra mondiale, quindi sembra appropriato che questa sia la prima collaborazione ufficiale con un partner non inglese”.

Agreement between FOOTBALLANDTHEFIRSTWORLDWAR.ORG and GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM

Today a collaboration agreement was reached between the newspaper “GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM”, represented by the Managing Director Federico Baranello and “FOOTBALLANDTHEFIRSTWORLDWAR.ORG”, represented by Iain McMullen.

The agreement, strongly desired by the two parties, originates in the sharing of objectives that become common, in particular the interest in the enhancement and dissemination of the history of football. Specifically, GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM will be able to use of the research and historical reconstructions made by Mr McMullen over the years, related to football and the First World War, with a specific focus to the stories of players who played in the first team both in the English Football League and in the Southern League and those who participated in the Scottish Football League.
