È vero, può sembrare insolito, ma…in carriera realizzò quattro reti. Oggi, come allora, era domenica. Il 16 marzo 1975 Comunardo Niccolai metteva a segno l’ultima rete, non solo con la maglia del Cagliari.

Quel dì compivano mezzo secolo Giuseppe Gaggiotti (due presenze in Serie A con il Napoli e 43 nel campionato cadetto) e Valentino Bonaiti (83 gare, compreso uno spareggio, in B). E oggi festeggi settant’anni Ruben Buriani: anche lui, come il coetaneo Walter De Vecchi, realizzò una doppietta in un derby.
