Il gagliardetto del Catania

Una vera icona per Catania l’elefante simbolo indiscusso ed emblema sui gagliardetti pressoché eterno. Nelle versioni degli anni Sessanta i catanesi utilizzavano un bell’esemplare che riportava sui lati l’indicazione della stagione sportiva. Erano in uso anche esemplari privi di questo ricamo e sempre di formato triangolare.

Negli anni Cinquanta i gagliardetti erano rettangolari privi o arricchiti dei dettagli riguardanti un evento specifico come nel caso del gagliardetto del 1954 che celebrava la prima promozione in serie A degli etnei.
