La sconvolgente storia di Florin Piturca, il calciatore che morì per un “tè”

La storia di Florin Piturca, calciatore morto improvvisamente dopo una partita. Ce la racconta Mondo Sportivo in un bell’articolo della rubrica Pallone Noir. Ecco un estratto.

[…] 10 dicembre 1978. Florin Piturca, soprannominato affettuosamente Florica, è uno stimato centravanti. Classe 1951, è cugino di Viorel Piturca che vivrà una carriera luminosa sul campo e in panchina. Florica milita nella seconda divisione rumena, con il Drobeta Turnu Severin. Ha appena disputato, segnando un gol, la gara di campionato contro il Metalul Bucarest che ha visto la sua squadra vincere per 2-1. Finito il match, il calciatore fa rientro a casa dove lo attende la giovane moglie. “Non mi sento molto bene“, le dice Florin mentre va in bagno. Dieci minuti dopo, viene ritrovato senza vita. Cos’è accaduto? Le prime voci parlano d’infarto. […] La madre di Florin si è rivolta agli ex compagni di squadra. Salta fuori che all’intervallo della partita è stato somministrato del tè caldo ai calciatori da parte del medico sociale. Il periodo storico rumeno, durante la dittatura Ceausescu, suggerisce che siano stati somministrati degli stimolanti per migliorare le prestazioni.

[…] “La colpa di Florin? Aver sbagliato un’occasione da gol facile e aver suscitato la rabbia dell’allenatore, che lo sostituì. Il mio ex compagno Titi Stan lo trovò negli spogliatoi, mentre picchiava selvaggiamente Florin“.
