Uno dei più grandi nella storia del Celtic. Quante reti e quanti titoli. Soprattutto la Coppa dei Campioni del 1967. Compie oggi ottant’anni Bobby Lennox. E’ nato esattamente dieci anni dopo Cosimo Malacari, oltre settanta presenze nel torneo cadetto con il Taranto. Il 30 agosto 1983 se ne andava Ugo Conti, 220 gare in Serie A 38 in B. Quel giorno nascevano Kris Commons (vari successi anche lui con i biancoverdi di Glasgow) e Juan Culio: il brasiliano che regalò la prima vittoria in Champions League al Cluj, contro la Roma all’Olimpico. Con il club romeno ha vinto vari campionati, uno con Andrea Mandorlini allenatore.
P.S. Sessant’anni fa è nato Gianluca Pacchiarotti, il più giovane portiere ad aver debuttato nel massimo campionato (il 9 marzo 1980).
