Appartiene alla storia del calcio olandese con 555 presenze nella Eredivisie. Vinse una Coppa nazionale e due campionati: oggi avrebbe compiuto ottant’anni Pim Doesburg. Era nato ventidue giorni dopo Ottavio Bianchi, che in Roma-Milan del 28 ottobre 1973 realizzava la prima rete in maglia rossonera. Quella domenica di mezzo secolo fa coincise con il sessantesimo anniversario dalla nascita di Raffaele Mancini, 139 presenze in Serie A (compresi tre spareggi) tra Bari e Livorno.

P.S. Non abbiamo dimenticato che il 28 ottobre 1933 nasceva Mané Garrincha.
