Scudetti Contesi – 1915, Avv. Mignogna: “Il Genoa fu colpevole di corruzione ma venne graziato”

Il dibattito sull’assegnazione dello scudetto del 1915 continua. E mentre si attende una decisione definitiva che tarda ad arrivare, l’Avv. Mignogna, sul sito Laziostory.it, ha voluto ribadire le ragione biancocelesti rimarcando il fatto che, sia in quella stagione che nella stagione precedente, il Genoa fu colpevole di “corruzione e graziato dai poteri istituzionali e dalla storiografia”. Secondo l’avvocato, “nella stagione 1913/14 il club ligure venne processato a Vercelli per aver contravvenuto all’articolo 8 del Regolamento della Federazione contro il professionismo, rischiando la radiazione dai ranghi federali”.

Lo stesso avvenne nell’anno dello scudetto conteso con un episodio di presunta corruzione di un calciatore, confermato dal Bollettino Ufficiale FIGC n.3 del 1914; nonostante tale conferma, al Genoa venne soltanto comminata “la squalifica del campo sino al 31 Dicembre 1914 ed una multa di Lire 3.000 (tremila)”.
