Articolo di TuttoSport dedicato al 27 Maggio del 1946, il giorno segnato dalla sfida tra l’Inter ed il Torino. Ve ne proponiamo un estratto.

[…] Quattro partite e quattro vittorie. Torino e Inter si sono presentate con questo ruolino di marcia allo scontro diretto delle fasi finali della Serie A 1945/1946, gara documentata con dovizia di particolari da Tuttosport sull’edizione del 27 maggio 1946. Una partita decisa, di misura, da una rete di Gabetto, che ha così lanciato i granata in solitaria al comando della classifica. «Spettacolosa, strana e bella partita – il commento del direttore Renato Casalbore –. Il gioco del Torino in una vetrina luminosa, limpido e preciso come un cesello. Una superiorità di stile indiscutibile. Il risultato convincente ma gramo, esposto fino all’ultimo momento a un possibile colpo mancino o a una decisiva azione dell’Inter che, bloccata costantemente sulla difensiva, non perdeva l’occasione buona per lanciarsi all’attacco».
