Addio a Fabio Enzo

GLIEROIDELCALCIO.COM (Foto asroma.com) – E’ venuto a mancare Fabio Enzo, attaccante tra gli anni ’60 e ’70. Chiuse la sua carriera nel 1983 in Interregionale con la Biellese.

In carriera vestì le maglie di molte squadre, partendo dal venezia, Salernitana, Tevere Roma e poi la Roma nel biennio 1966/68.

Il 23 ottobre 1966 si presenta bene al pubblico di fede giallorossa: Lazio – Roma 0-1 … al 16′ del primo tempo su cross di Peirò, Fabio Enzo segna il gol decisivo nel derby.

“Il 24 dicembre 1966 segna una doppietta nel 4-0 al Torino. Quel giorno allo stadio c’è anche Adriano Zecca, 91 presenze nella Roma tra il 1949 e il 1953, che lo definisce così: “In lui mi è piaciuto il suo modo di lanciarsi impetuosamente nel vivo di ogni azione, con un coraggio e una decisione davvero ammirevoli” (Cit. asroma.com).

Passò poi al Mantova, Cesena, Napoli, Verona, Novara dove in Serie B, dal 1972 al 1974, sigla 27 reti.

Poi ancora Foggia, Reggina, ancora Venezia, Omegna e Biellese dove nel 1983 appende gli scarpini al chiodo.

Era nato l 23 ottobre 1966 nato a Cavallino (Lecce), si è spento a 74 anni.

La Roma affida a Twitter il cordoglio per la morte di Enzo: “Un tuo gol che decide il Derby è qualcosa che non si può descrivere”…

Anche il Novara esprime il proprio cordoglio dalle pagine del sito ufficiale della società azzurra.
