Ci sono date che segnano la tua carriera in positivo ed in negativo. Per quanto riguarda Gianluigi Lentini, una di queste è il 2 agosto del 1993. La giovane ala passata dal Torino al Milan nell’estate precedente ha un grave incidente d’auto. Mentre percorre a tutta velocità l’autostrada Milano-Torino, in direzione del capoluogo piemontese, fora una ruota. Il giocatore percorre qualche chilometro con il ruotino di scorta prima dello schianto. L’ex granata rimarrà per due giorni in bilico tra la vita e la morte. Tornerà a giocare ma nessuno riuscirà più a vedere quel talento che sarebbe potuto diventare uno dei giocatori del nostro campionato. Uno dei più grandi rimpianti e “what if” della Serie A.
