“Quella è una ferita che resta, quando mi viene in mente cerco di allontanarla pensando a qualcos’altro. Peccato perché era stata organizzata con tanta passione e con tanto entusiasmo, quando mi viene in mente cerco sempre di soffocarla cambiando discorso. C’erano tanti amici e tante celebrità, avrei voluto che andasse diversamente. Voglio pensare che molte delle persone presente lì erano persone che con i nostri colori non c’entravano niente”.

Sulla romanità.
“A volte non si sanno le dinamiche interne. Spesso mi sono esposto per andare a parlare con la società anche per parlare di massaggiatori, magazzinieri, ci sono cose che i tifosi non pensano ci siano. Ci sono dei comportamenti e delle responsabilità, anche quando ci sono delle contestazioni ci va il capitano a parlare con i tifosi. Non è facile …”
