L’Inghilterra e quel gol di Hurst…un flashback di riflessione

L’Inghilterra vola in finale contro l’Italia. Merito ma anche molte polemiche sul rigore che ha permesso agli inglesi di staccare il pass per Wembley. Il GIORNO-CARLINO-SPORT ci ripropone un gol tanto contestato ma che è valso una finale Mondiale.

[…] L’ombra del gol di Hurst nel ’66 riguardo o trattamenti di favore. Ecco perché l’ombra di quel minuto 103 dei tempi supplementari si allunga sulla sfida di Wembley con l’Italia, che di favori arbitrali non si è certo giovata. L’appello al pool di fischietti che dirigerà l’ultimo atto dell’Europeo è quello di sempre: decidano in coscienza ma si affidino alle tecnologie in caso di dubbio o di valutazione problematica. Per restare agli scandali inglesi, la gol-line technology di oggi avrebbe cancellato il ‘non-gol’ di Hurst, che permise ai bianchi di Ramsey di vincere il mondiale del ’66, unico alloro della storia britannica. E proprio nel ricordo di quel gol-fantasma che fece epoca, è giusto garantire al grande pubblico dell’Europeo 2020 la massima trasparenza e il corretto uso delle tecnologie.
