Il settimanale Sport Week dedica un servizio alla carriera di uno dei più vincenti dirigenti nella storia del calcio italiano: Adriano Galliani. Ecco un estratto.

[…] “Ricordo quando Berlusconi venne ospite mio, con tutta la famiglia, a vedere il Milan al Sala, il vecchio stadio del Monza, nel campionato di B ’82/’83. Sono ancora vicepresidente quando, a Dicembre del 1985, Berlusconi inizia a pensare di comprare il Milan e mi chiede di seguirlo”.

[…] “Se non avessi fatto quei dieci anni di Monza, Berlusconi avrebbe preso un altro manager al mio posto”.

[…] “Compriamo il Milan il 26 Febbraio del 1986, ma il Milan di Berlusconi nasce davvero l’1 Luglio del 1987, quando scegliamo Arrigo Sacchi allenatore. Berlusconi dice: Dobbiamo diventare la squadra più forte al mondo. Perciò, quest’anno bisogna vincere lo scudetto. L’anno prossimo la Coppa dei Campioni. A Dicembre del prossimo anno dobbiamo diventare campioni del mondo, vincendo l’Intercontinentale. Risate dei giornalisti, che non erano ammessi al castello ma da fuori sentivano tutto”. […] “Il vero merito di Berlusconi consiste nell’aver preso Sacchi, che col suo Parma ci aveva battuto tre volte di fila nella stagione precedente”.
