Ci lascia Dino da Costa, leggenda della Roma

Ci lascia Dino Da Costa, uno degli attaccanti più forti nella storia della Roma. Nato nel 1931 a Rio de Janeiro, arrivò in Italia nel 1955, dopo una tournée nella quale aveva brillato con il suo Botafogo. La Roma lo accolse e con i giallorossi iniziò un sodalizio fatto di cinque stagioni corredate da 71 reti in 149 partite. Vincerà il titolo di capocannoniere del campionato di Serie A nel ’57  e la storica Coppa delle Fiere del ’60/’61, prendendo parte alla finale d’andata. Tra il ’60 ed il ’66 giocherà con Fiorentina, Atalanta e Juventus prima di terminare la carriera ad Ascoli. Da oriundo avrà anche la soddisfazione di esordire con la maglia azzurra, nella partita contro l’Irlanda del Nord che ci vide sconfitti per 2 a 1.
